Ecosa is an innovative lifestyle brand specialising in sustainable and ergonomic mattresses, bedding, home essentials and sleep solutions.
Leading a team of 5 designers, I am responsible for ensuring we have brand consistency across all design assets at Ecosa within Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, the US, and Canada.

Outside of leading the team I also act as Art Director. Some projects and daily responsibilities in my role have included overseeing and owning the Ecosa rebrand, executing campaigns every 2 weeks across multiple countries, re-platforming our EDMs to Braze and personalising with templates, directing and executing all content shoots in both our Footscray and China studios and overseeing all new design assets, website, packaging, product design and coming soon an in-store experience. Some highlights include directing and styling a 10-day sofa bed photoshoot and our recent TVC ad brand campaign.

As the Digital Design Lead, I was responsible for overseeing the entire digital design and user experience on all digital platforms across the four brands; Boost Juice Australia, Boost Juice International, Salsas Fresh Mex, CIBO Espresso and Betty's Burgers.

This included but was not limited to;

  • Leading, inspiring and mentoring the digital design team

  • Managing projects, timelines and stakeholders

  • Conducting user experience research and analysis

  • Concept, wireframe and design the user interface for all new digital products

  • Work closely with and collaborate with developers and engineers

Some highlights include…

  • Seeing the launch of the first Boost Kiosk

  • Redesign and replatform of the new Boost app 4.0 (ReactNative)

  • Redesign and replatform of the new Betty's Burgers app 2.0 (ReactNative)

  • Redesign of the new Cibo Espresso App 2.0

  • Design update and rollout of Boost’s national digital menuboards with the implementation of animation.

  • Working with brands such as Disney and Universal studios on promo microsites.

As the sole Digital Designer I am responsible for developing and creating digital campaigns across all of the Retail Zoo brands. Working in the Digital team and closely with the Marketing and Design teams, my role involves creating website assets, eNewsletter designs, social media assets including creative directing and styling of campaign photoshoots, UX design for apps and microsites’ and also assisting with the design and implementation of the recently launched Boost Juice kiosk! I have also worked on campaigns in partnership with global brands such as Disney, Coachella and Catch.com.au

Hunting for George is an online destination that makes your home awesome. A popular retailer of designer homewares, furniture and gifts with a young, affluent and design conscious customer. The Hunting for George brand is aspirational and trusted, with a loyal following and highly engaged community that reaches 1.5 million people every week.

As the Mid-Weight Designer I took on the role of blog and Instagram content creator and editor in addition to my responsibilities as the Junior Graphic Designer (see below).

  • Instagram - Create, Plan, Schedule and Copywrite Social Media Content - Posting at least 7 times a day, managing two Instagram accounts; @huntingforgeorge @community_journal.

  • Blog - Create, Plan, Brief, Edit and Schedule Blog Content - Posting at least once a day to the Community Journal

  • Team Management - Communicating and Planning with Content Copywriters and Video Editors

As the Junior Designer for the online retailer, Hunting for George I was responsible for:

  • Digital Design

    • ENewsletters - Plan, Design and Format several newsletters promoting new products and promotions - 2 to 3 Email Campaigns each week

    • Website - Plan, Design and Format new homepage assets and Work closely with the web developer to Create banners, product images and manage web content in Magento

    • Facebook & Instagram Assets - Roll out campaign assets across other online advertising and social media under the direction of the Marketing Director

    • Google Ads - Roll out a series of online advertising for Google Adwords under the direction of the Marketing team

    • Youtube - Creating various video assets including Youtube thumbnails and banners

  • Social Media & Marketing - Turn around immediate designs for social media channels

  • Content Creation - Assist the Brand Director on campaign photo shoots

  • Print, Product & Packaging Design - Plan, Design and Format print collateral for new product campaigns, including formatting product Art Prints for print

June 2015 – December 2015

In 2015 I studied Interaction Design Arts at University of the Arts London as one of RMIT’s first students to participate in the INTERACT Mobility Project. This project is a collaboration between UAL - London, RMIT - Melbourne, DMJX - Copenhagen and QUT - Brisbane. Undergraduates from these four design schools undertake formal exchanges and engage in studio based activities and real life projects within the design industry.

INTERACT combines elements of the bachelor programmes of the four partners that cover the fields of Interactive Design, Communication Design, Visual Communication and Games & Interactive Entertainment offering unique combination of design and technology within a creative studio setting.

1998 – 2013

In 2013 I completed my VCE certificate at Carey Baptist Grammar School. During my year 12 in 2013 I completed the following subjects; English, Maths Methods (CAS), Business Management, Visual Communication and Art.

Additionally in 2012 while in year 11 I accelerated a subject and studied Studio Art (Units 3 & 4) at year 12 level.  I achieved a score of 46 – the highest of any VCE Studio Art student at Carey.
